A Simulation Technique of the Hydrate Formation Prediction in Gas Production System

摘要

The gas including saturated vapor isn't often separated when gases are transported into gas production pipeline. Because of the changing of temperature and pressure of fluid in pipeline, vapor will condense and condition of fluid is high pressure and low temperature, so gas hydrate will form in gas production pipeline. In this paper, a simple model of phase equilibrium calculation for predicting the formation of gas hydrate is described based on van der Waals - platteeuw' s theory of ideal solid solution. The acid gas and nonacid gas are calculated with established model. The calculated results are found to compare well with experimental results for a wide variety mixture.
