In studying the question of compression associated with bending extended to mixed structures with steel and concrete, since the latter is not dealt with in terms of european regulations, it would be best to elaborate a complex finite element model allowing the study of stress on such a structure. From the practical standpoint, for example in the design and check of small slab bridge structures, this often entails complicated and laborious tasks. In the work that follows the behaviour of a mixed slab structure is examined through comparison of two models, obtaining simple relations which, by means of the calculation of an ideal area and a moment of inertia, allows easy check of the cross-section considered.
