摘要

In order to study the seismic behavior of the space steel truss-reinforced concrete pipe column joint, three specimens are tested to failure under cyclic load. In the course of experiment, the weak areas of rigid joint, such as weld seams and bolt connections are damaged firstly and do not show enough ductility. It is indicated that the hysteretic behavior of hinge joint is better than that of the rigid joint; that the less rigid joint can engender greater plastic deformation, that the way and quality of connection affect a lot on the properties of joint. Based on the experimental results, design and construction suggestions for the joint are presented at the end of the paper.
