THE DESIGN PRINCIPLE OF AN APPLICATION SPECIFIC VIDEO AMPLIFIER

摘要

An application-specific video amplifier that incorporates such properties as high gain,large dynamic range and low noise level and processes complex signals is quite a challenge in design.It is, of course, essential to choose proper devices, but in order to make them operate at their best,the key is to design a good signal path.In addition, an excellent amplifier should be characterized by key parameters.As a result,the selection and definition of parameters are extremely important as well as their testing techniques.A video amplifier module is presented in the paper, whice has a total gain up to 95dB, a bandwidth of 9MC and a system AGC dynamic range of 65dB with output amplitude at 5～8 Vp-p and noise level at 30 uVp-p.
