摘要

In order to explore the design method for armor-piercing and explosion resistant shield structures in warship, experiments of internal explosion were carried out using a simulated missile warhead. The combined damage effects of high speed fragments and shock wave acting on cabin were studied and the typical failure modes of cabin stiffened plates were analyzed based on experimental results and numerical simulations. It is shown that shock wave mainly produces cabin overall deformation,which is tearing failure at corners with large plastic deformation. The failure mode of bulkhead under the impact of high speed fragments is penetration and there is a dense area of breaches on the stiffened plates near blasting. The structural integrity of the whole cabin structure may not be affected by single breach. However, dense area of breaches could be tore by the subsequent blast loading, and thus, greatly reduce the integrity of cabin structure. This study can be used to guide the design of the shield structure of a warship.
