RAW MATERIALS PURCHASING PLAN MODEL ASSOCIATED WITH LOGISTICS

摘要

This paper built the model of raw material purchasing plan problem (RMPP) for the blast furnace production for Maanshan iron & steel Copr. The Maanshan Iron & Steel Copr. is a large-scale iron & steel enterprise in China. It approximately produces 500 ten thousand tons of pig iron per year. The amount of various required raw materials is about 1500 ten thousand of tons. The main contribution of this paper is to base on a new viewpoint, the logistic process of raw materials before iron to the modeling of the raw material purchasing in settings of large-scale iron & steel enterprises and to use column generation approach solving the model built that assigned it the ability to deal with problems with the real-size. The computational results of a real example were given for the verification of the model.
