摘要

A phase field model for growth dynamics of the steps on vicinal surfaces is presented. In this model, the elastic interactions between the surface steps generated by the surface forces are solved by elastic surface Green function, which is incorporated into the model. Through numerical simulations, the effects of elastic interactions are compared with those of the existing theories and it is shown that the model has the ability to solve the various phenomena of the step dynamics.
