A PRA Approach to Evaluate Post-Fire Safe Shutdown Capacity for Risk-Informed Fire Analysis in Taiwan

摘要

A new methodology of qualitative assessment is developed in this study to judge the PFSSD capability easily for fire scenarios. The PFSSD method can be applied to alternatives to the Appendix R separation rule on the cable-tray fire wrapping issue. As this study is the leading project in the RIFA application era, the PFSSD method is certainly very helpful to the future works. Both quantitative and qualitative analyses are important to RIFA application. And their results should be consistent with each other and be complied with RG 1.174 and RG 1.189 for the RIFA application to the cable-tray fire wrapping issues.
