High-pressure water hydraulic (HPWH) is mostly used in heavy industries. In comparison with oil hydraulic, water hydraulic achieves higher power. As a power source, high-pressure non-regulating three-plunger pumps are generally used. For controlling of HPWH performance, two-position hydraulic elements are used which cause a step change in the HPWH parameters. Flow pulsations of the three-plunger pumps and step changes of the parameters generate considerable pressure surges in the HPWH systems. This paper will consist of an analysis of pressure surges in a hydraulic descaling system (10).
