A Drawback and Its Solutions of Automatic Closing Emergency Source Devices

This paper analyses a drawback of automatic closing emergency source devices. The fault is that the automatic closing emergency source device are not able to distinguish whether the line or the bus-bar faults, which cause the drawback of outage of bus-bar. The paper also gives the solution of distinguishing bus-bar or line faults by analyzing whether the current value of the working inlet power is higher than its nominal value before outage of bus-bar.
