摘要

An assembled transmission line fault location algorithm based on one-terminal electrical quantities is presented in this paper. The core idea is to use fault location algorithm based on measuring impedance to calculate the fault section of transmission line and then use fault location algorithm based on current traveling wave to pinpoint the fault position. A high-precision fault recorder and fault locator is developed, which can record both transient traveling waves and low-frequency quantities and calculate the fault location reliably and precisely.
