摘要

The drift of the oil spills due to the sink of the Dominica-flagged cargo ship Runner 4 on 5 March 2006 in the Gulf of Finland, Baltic Sea is analyzed along with the corresponding weather and ice conditions. A numerical sea ice model is employed to investigate the drift of sea ice. The preliminary comparison of the drift between the sea ice and the oil spills shows a noticeable difference.
