But, if beginners don't have success in applying TRIZ to the first problem that they try, they will frequently abandon efforts to learn the TRIZ system.rnTeaching beginners how to formulate and solve cost-related problems requires that they gain a thorough understanding of the Ideal Final Result, System Operator, and Function Analysis, and the use of parameters and functions to define the problem before trying to apply tools like the separation principles and the 40 principles, organized in a way that makes it easy for them to succeed. Product and service examples from the electronics, medical and heavy machinery industries and a manufacturing plant case study from the plastics industry will be used to illustrate the concepts and the method of teaching the concepts.
