POLYPROPYLENE TECHNOLOGY AND LICENSING: The 'Spheripol' Process

Today, as a successful 40 year-old industry, polypropylene is the world's fastest growing and most versatile thermoplastic resin used for a broad range of applications from automobiles to food, packaging, appliance, clothing and carpeting. It can be foamed, converted into fiber or film, molded or thermoformed. Despite its age, polypropylene's future is today as bright as it has ever been, because polypropylene has discovered what all have been always seeking, a virtual "fontain of youth". Over the years, the development of the polypropylene industry has been marked by a number of revolutionary advances. These advances have injected new life into the business enabling it to be "reborn", and grow in new markets. Montell is the world leader company in polypropylene.
