摘要

A molybdenum disulfide (MoS_2) saturable absorber (SA) solution is fabricated by liquid-phase exfoliation (LPE)method. By using the MoS_2-SA solution, a compact diode-pumped passively Q-switched Ti:Sapphire laser has beendemonstrated. The minimum short pulse width is 3.7 ns and the maximum pulse energy is 16.2 μJ at 1 kHz repetition rate.Our results show that MoS_2-SA solution can be developed as an effective saturable absorber to achieve nanosecond pulselaser in the infrared range.
