Hypermedia documents: a journey through working models

摘要

This paper will look at an evolutionary sequence of experimental prototypes of workstation-based hypermedia systems leading to working model of a Windows-based multimedia document browser. The browser provides a mechanism for bridging the gap between on-line web access on the internet, and the off-line viewing and distribution of multimedia documents on Floppy Disk and CD-ROM.
