摘要

We consider scalarization techniques for multiobjective combinatorial optimization. We briefly discuss the problems occurring in known methods and show that a new method of elastic constraints can overcome these. The method is a generalization of both the weighted sum method and the ε-constraint method and generates all Pareto optimal solutions. We show an application of the method in airline crew scheduling, where we optimize cost and robustness of solutions. Numerical results on real world instances are given.
