Nowadays, interdependence and globalization of the modern manufacturing and industrial system become more distinct. The Condition Based Monitor and Control (CBMC) systems distributed in the enterprises and institutions present data-intensiveness, computing-intensiveness, distribution of resources and heterogeneous information system, which restricts the development of the information exchange of different CBMC systems. In this paper, we propose a novel information exchange CBMC model in grid environment to satisfy the goals of the excellence of operation, maintenance and health assessment, etc. We start by discussing multi-layer resource management architecture and the relative components and services. And then the resource-mapping model is discussed, which organize CBMC resources and enable ease of resource access and data exchange. On the basis of the CBMC grid, we also discuss the multi-layer information exchange pattern to realize remote access, remote maintenance in dynamic Virtual Organizations (VO). We have applied the system in the maintenance systems and shows promising correctness and practicability.
