Developing Stratagem: Container Port Logistics MIS Model

摘要

To solve the problem, which capability of container port production is not adapt the need of economics development, this paper presents a new Container Terminal Real-time Logistics Information System (CTRLIS) model, which based on the platform of Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) and Real Time Kinematic (RTK) technologies supported. The character of CTRLIS model means that terminal operators are working with the electric data sheet, which supported by the whole container port logistics MIS system, and this model can accomplish containers automatic allocation, trail as well as control within the port The quay, yards and gates are able to deal with the container terminal production procedure synchronously under command of terminal production control centre by CTRLIS. They play the important role in container port logistics that Mobile Control Unit (MCU) equipped on the Quay Cranes or Yard Cranes.
