摘要

General questions of remote analysis in atmosphere with the aid of pulsed chain chemical laser are considered. Modeling lidar return signal from aerosol cloud is carried out and is shown to be useful in the determination of backscattering and extinction coefficients for cloud and background matter. Multifrequency output of the laser permits measurement of spectral dependence of backscattered radiation in single sounding pulse that makes possible fast and undisturbed identification of gas and aerosol admixtures with estimation of aerosol particle size parameters. As a result, it is concluded that the lidar complex with such a laser source will be very promising in atmospheric sounding.
