The results of theoretical and experimental study of thermal lensing in diode-pumped Yb:YVO_4 laser crystal, Yb:Y_2O_3 and Yb:Sc_2O_3 laser ceramics are presented. Shown, that influence of thermo-lensing effect is necessary to consider for creation of effective high-intensity femtosecond Yb-doped laser systems.
