摘要

In this paper, engine block dyanmic characteris analyzed with finite element model and verified by tested results. Several methods to recuce block surface vibration response by changing local stiffness of the block are discussed. The influence on the vibration with curved surface block structure is set forth. The resuls provide basis for designing low noise engine.
