Tactic Consideration on Inland Shipping in China

摘要

In this paper, the status quo of inland shipping in China was analyzed, indicating that the resource of inland shipping is abundant and ascendant. Based on these, the tactics for the sustainable development of inland shipping in our country is suggested to be that: (1) insisting on the mutual harmony between inland shipping and the sustainable development of the drainage area economics and between inland shipping and the comprehensive utilization of water resource. (2) Mending the construction of the advanced network of shipping-route, (3) boosting the standardization of inland ship and the adjustment of transporting structure, (4) constructing the inland port with specialty, perfect function and reasonable layout. Therefore, the strong measures must be taken for implementing the tactics, especially in fund and construction of legal system. Quickening the development of inland shipping offers an opportunity to carry out the sustainable development of the economics and society in 21st century.
