Words recognition based on fractal techniques

摘要

This paper presents a new and promising approach in speech words recognition using fractal properties such as fractal dimension for recognition system. Fractal dimension provides an objective means for quantifying the fractal property of an object and comparing objects observed in the naturla world.It is a potential for expanding understanding of speech signal and for characterising its essential features.
