Centralized Generation Control System for Cascaded Hydropower Stations in Upstream of Yellow River

摘要

This paper depicts the necessity to build up the centralized automatic generation control system for cascaded hydropower stations of upstream of Yellow River. Then the automation system structure and network security schemes are described. The issues related to operation modes of cascade dispatching system and their effects on power system dispatching policy are investigated. New functions of H9000 system developed for this cascade automatic generation control and project progress are presented at the end of paper.
