In this article are presented experimental results of heat transfer between a submerged surface and a pressurised fluidised bed. The work is focused on the influence of bed material properties and of surface geometry on heat transfer. Experimental tests highlight that the heat transfer coefficient results almost constant with particle thermal conductivity, while it is sensibly affected by the shape of the immersed surface.
