摘要

In Mn-Zn ferrite ceramics the grain boundaries are of a key importance during the development of the microstructure and, as a result, they determine the ultimate properties of high frequency Mn-Zn ferrite. For this reason, the grain-boundary mobility must be controlled in order to achieve the desired microstructure. Additives that result in an insulating layer which surrounds the grain boundaries significantly improve the power losses of ferrite materials via an increase in the grain-boundary resistance. A homogeneous and uniform high-resistance layer is needed to effectively reduce the eddy-current losses in high-frequency ferrite materials. In this study, the effect of TiO_2 and CaO additions on the microstructure and power losses of high-frequency materials will be discussed.
