VISTA Virtual Interactive Studio Television Applications Using Networked Graphical Supercomputers

The main objective of the VISTA project is the integration and demonstration of a generic and extensible telemeatics paltform that supports the execution of secentrios in the domain of real-time interactive television, and the realisation of a Virtual Interactive Studio (VIS). The Virtual Interactive Studio offers facilities of maxing real and synthetic objects and characters in any combination -depending on the circumstances-and can be controlled remotely by the end-users i.e. the television viewers at home.
