摘要

Glass lenses are increasingly used in opto-electronic devices and the development of a low cost and high precision process to mass-produce glass lenses is required. The glass lenses are moulded with micro dies and mould of ceramics and micro ceramic dies are ground by micro diamond wheels. Accuracy of truing and dressing of the grinding wheel influences the form accuracy and the surface roughness of the mould and die. In this research the authors propose a new truer made of molybdenum, and truing performance of the new truer was experimentally evaluated, compared with the conventional method of stainless steel, soft steel and green silicon carbide truer.
