Air bearings for micro power generation with a miniaturized gas turbine

摘要

This paper describes the modelling of hybrid air bearings for small-scale turbomachinery. Stringent requirements of high rotational speeds and elevated temperatures turn the bearing design into a challenging task. Effective modelling techniques of both static and dynamic behaviour are essential to this design proces.
