摘要

This paper presents a study of two-dimensional modeling for meandering rivers (including sharp bends rivers), following a sustained research program. A depth-averaged two-dimensional mathematical model is established under the orthogonal curvilinear body-fitted coordinate system with staggered grid. The governing equations of flow are discretized with the finite volume method. The SIMPLEC procedure, underrelaxation technique and line-by-line method are used in solution of the discrete equations. The coarser computation grids are used in the whole computed area, while the computation grids in the wharf local area are refined gradually, which can effectively solve the problem in the local small-scale project area with the consideration of the large-scale influences.Variations of water level, surface slope and flow velocity, caused by the new wharf constructions in Lianyuxi wharf of the Chishuihe River are analyzed. Influences of the project on mooring conditions and flood control are investigated. And finally, the conclusion is obtained that the bank line of the wharf constructions built at Lianyuxi concave bank in Chishui river can be moved to the direction of thawleg properly.
