Application of a cationic dispersed rosin size in neutral papermaking

How to choose a size is very important for the neutral papermaking system. Except AKD and ASA, cationic dispersed rosin size may be another choice for neutral papermaking system. A cationic dispersed rosin size emulsified with cationic polymeric emulsions was characterized, and its performance was studied in the article. The results showed that the cationic dispersed rosin size could be used in the pH5 to 8, and expressed a good tolerance with calcium carbonate.
