AGRICULTURAL STRAWBOARD INDUSTRY IN CHINA: CONDITIONS AND PROSPECTS

摘要

In this paper the author firstly investigated the annual yield quantities and characteristics of agri-straw resources, and process difficulties in China. Production procedure and properties of some new types materials which has been commercialized including straw particleboard, straw-wood hybrid MDF, light combination wall board with straw insulation panel, and straw packaging materials were introduced. The author analyzed the production situation of straw-based panels at present in China and potential development in the future. How to decrease production cost of straw-based composites was especially mentioned in this paper. Many research works have been carried out focus on this problem. Finally, the author gives some application examples of straw-based panels.
