Fusion Clutter Modeling and CFAR Detection in SAR Imagery

This Paper study a fusion clutter modeling method. A linear combination of Rayleigh and Weibull distribution is discussed. Details are given to estimate the parameters and determine the weights of the combined distributions. Then a CFAR detector based on the fusion clutter model is proposed. The investigations are carried out using both the MSTAR public dataset and the ADTS sample set. The fit of fusion model with real scene and the detection performance of the CFAR detector are both promising.
