摘要

Scattering parameter measurement method is presented to test the sectional winding transfer function (SWTF) of transformer coil, which can avoid errors caused by the effects of connecting cables, reflections and noise etc. The energy ratio curve of 400kV transformer HV winding is got by this measuring method, which meanings the prior knowledge of PD location. When real partial discharge happens in transformer winding, its energy ratio value can be acquired by detection resistance, then compare to the history curve of energy ratio to realize partial discharge location.
