Implementation of SSL protocol Based on JSSE

摘要

This paper introduces a protocol designed to address the security issues associated with conducting electronic transactions via the Internet, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). The SSL protocol provides a generic channel security mechanism on top of TCP. At the same time, the Java Secure Socket Extension (JSSE) implements a Java technology version of SSL due to it is a set of packages that enable secure Internet communications. This paper also provides the method to implement the SSL protocol based on JSSE. After integrating the SSL to existing client/server applications, a certificate is created. Then the secure communication can be created between the client and server.
