摘要

This paper presents research results of a model power transmission system by using a superconducting magnetic energy storage (SMES)[1] to improve the transient stability of electric power system. The fuzzy logic control strategy is suggested. The fuzzy rule-bases are designed and explained. SMIB system simulations are carried out. From the results they were demonstrated that stabilizing effect by mean of SMES was very significant.
