摘要

A method of damage detection for concrete arch dam based on artificial neural network is presented in this paper. An numerical analysis model of arch dam is established for estimating potential location of damage under the condition of considering the interaction between reservoir water and structures caused by earthquake, which is carried out by the program complied by the author. Then the parameters of structural dynamic characteristic are computed in healthy and many damaged states for health monitoring based on artificial neural network. It is seemed that this method is feasible used on Ertan arch dam for health monitoring Some useful proposals in damage detection for concrete arch dam based on Finite Element Method (FEM) and neural network analysis are presented.
