Application of Adaptive Control Technology in Die Mould Manufacturing

摘要

According to the characters of die and mold NC manufacturing, the adaptive control technology is introduced into the process of die and mold manufacturing so as to optimize the technological parameters in this paper. Then, it regards OptiMil as an example to explain how to adjust the feed rate in accordance with maximum feasible cutting load for the cutting tool and work-piece material with the real time monitoring of the spindle load of cutting process. The experimental result shows that the application of adaptive control technology can substantially reduce cutting time and effectively lengthen the lifetime of tool.
