Ramflow Analysis software intuitively shows how plastic flows into a mold through gates and runners into cavities. The developed tool is provided with the basic known inf ormalion such as part geometry, plastic material type, molding temperature, etc. More precisely, in pre-processing to lessen user's effort, Ramflow offers interface with CAD format files (DXF, IGES, STL, etc.). In solving process, two types of options are available, that is, one is fast solving and the other is fine solving algo rithm. Finally, in the post-processing, the results of the analysis can be displayed in graphical and tabular format. Animated motion and stop motion can display the flow of plastic, or can show pressure, temperature, etc. over time. Fu rthermore, the optimum design modules for runner balancing which can calculate the design parameters such as runner diameter to satisfy the goal of simultaneous filling cavities and flow balancing which can predict best feasible gate positions in one cavity are included.
