摘要

It is necessary to positively examine the utilization on volcanic deposits produced by the eruption activity of the Unzen-Fugendake during 1995 from 1990. In this paper the authors carried out some cyclic triaxial tests to determine the liquefaction strength and deformation properties of Unzen deposits, and Toyoura standard sand was used as a comparison. As a result of this study, it became clear that liquefaction strength was comparatively high according to the effect of some particle shape with the asperity, though are any particle breakage.
