Distance Education MS Fluid Power Engineering

摘要

Purdue University has a thirty year history of providing educational programs at a distance. One new program funded with a bequest from Otto Maha has successfully started a Masters of Engineering fluid power focused effort utilizing narrated PowerPoint presentations distributed on compact disks and sometimes supplemented with WebCT, an online course management application. Each module in the fluid power series consists of 1 week's (13-15 hours) worth of lecture plus homework and exams for one graduate credit. Expansion of topics is expected to fulfill the 30 credits needed for non-thesis MSE degree.
