TIMED CONTINUOUS EXTENDED STATE MACHINES - STUDY OF MARKINGS EVOLUTIONS

For timed continuous extended state machines (TCESMs) with infinite server semantics we define a new type of invariance property that refers to the individual marking of each place. This property is characterized in terms of flow-invariant sets with respect to the differential equation describing the dynamics of the TCESM. Several types of bounded flow-invariant sets are considered in the development of the theoretical results, as well as in the illustration by concrete examples.
