The Internal Quality Improvement of C.C. Slab at No.2 Smp of WISCO

摘要

The internal quality of slab mainly depends on the chemicals, casting parameters, guide roll and segment alignment, etc. The improvement practice and achievement of slab internal quality, especially center segregation, is presented in this paper. The technology innovation with regard to internal quality of slab, such as hot-metal desulfurization capacity expansion, casters modernization revamping and the strand condition monitor system is discussed.
