Economic Analysis of Government's Real Estate Price Regulating and Controlling Measures

With high relevancy and strong driving power, real estate has become the support industry of national economy. In the past few years, real estate price in China has been rising continuously. The government has adopted relative measures to promote the continuous and healthy development of real estate market. The measures have produced certain effects. In many cities, the increase speed of real estate development investment has dropped obviously. However, we still have a long way to go to achieve the real goal of steady housing price. Through the economic analysis of the government's measures, we could know that the measures starting from reducing supply might increase rather decrease the price and that those focusing on reducing demand might decrease it. Only that their impact on demand is limited recently, owning to the expectation. Comprehensively, it is impossible that we could see the steady or even decreasing real estate price in the short run. Nevertheless, in the long run, it is possible that we get to the steady real estate price.
