The conflict events that occured in construction engineering project (CEP) often bring about a lot of adverse effect on projects implementation, and show a character of randomcity. In order to find out the occurring rule of conflict events of CEP, on the basis of investigation, the paper analyzes all sorts and occurringfrequency of conflict events in CEP, describes distribution of conflict events in the life cycle of CEP. The representing rule of conflict events in every stage have been revealed in a new concept referred to as the degree of representation by the method of quantitative analysis combined with qualitative analysis. Then, according to the basic principle of AHP, every stage's judgment matrixes of conflict events are set up. Latent roots of these matrixes have revealed the influence order of cumulative results of conflict events at each stage on the whole construction projects; the outcome is satisfactory in consistent test. The harvest has obvious theoretic and practical value for forecasting conflict events, mastering whole project situation, avoiding and reducing conflict events, and improving project management ability.
