In the field of automotive and aeronautical manufacturing, the complex part's development and manufacture is a bottleneck technology, which uses together many kinds of engineering hi-technology based on IT, such as CAID, CAD, CAM, CAE, PDM, VR, etc.. To use effectively development resources, and to realize agility, the research and application of the virtual production development technology has been one of the hotspots. Faced wheel, the typical complex part, the paper designs the digitized virtual development work-flow, and establishes the integrated virtual development architecture. Based on the typical research and application on integrated development technology of the manufacture of wheel, expecting to set about the research on the typical production virtual manufacturing, the paper searches a revolution of the virtual production development technology.
