We present a theoretical study on the two-photon absorption (TPA) properties of C_(60) and C_(70). The results show that the calculated TPA cross section peak of C_(70) (2757.5x10~(-50) cm~4·s/ photon) is about 2.7 times as that of C_(60) (995.7 x 10~(-5) cm~4·s/photon) Another interest phenomenon is that C_(60) possesses the distinct TPA process in contrast to other conjugated molecules and C_(70) in terms of three-state approximation.
