In this paper, a summary of our work in the field of three kinds of phase-change heat transfer problem in two-phase flow is presented: (1) the enhanced heat transfer process of the latent functionally liquid-solid two-phase fluid in tube, (2) the gas-liquid phase-change process in porous capillary core (PCC), (3) the rapid solidification of metal droplets in the spray forming and microgravity falling tower or tube. This paper reports an axisymmetric dual reciprocity boundary element method (ADRBEM) has been constructed to simulate the time marching process of phase-change interface in different kinds of tow-phase flow. The combined finite element, finite difference and boundary element methods are used to solve the momentum equations and phase change heat transfer equations in different thermal and flow processes, respectively. Validations of the numerical methods are made. Some valuable numerical results are presented.
