Research and Design of Transition Module of HTTP-SNMP Protocol in Embedded Web-based Network Management

In order to study the communica'tion method of transition of HTTP-SNMP protocol in embedded web-based network management, we design the transition module. The module is implemented in two aspects. In transition from HTTP to SNMP, we adapt the method of JSP + JavaBeans + Embedded Tomcat Server. And in transition from SNMP to HTTP, we adapt the method of JavaBeans + Push technology. We get a framework of bi-directional communicational transition between HTTP protocol and SNMP protocol in Linux of embedded network device. The conclusion is that the performance of embedded network management is improved and it can offer some good engineering experiences in implementation of bi-directional communication transition in more communication protocols on embedded device.
